What are the hostel admission criteria for Bahujan Hitaya Girls Hostel?
Bahujan Hitai Hostel admits girls from different sections of the society. (e.g. SC, ST, VJNT, OBC, EBC) Orphaned single parent girls, economically weaker sections and remote areas are given first priority. Every year we conduct a village level survey to find the needy girls in the society. Hostel admission forms are released in the month of April May. Interview is in first week of June. Girls are selected from it. The capacity of the hostel building is only for 80 girls but the parents are very insistent at the time of hostel admission to admit all the girls who come for the interview. So, one has to be very alert and enter the girl’s hostel.
Is there a fee charged for hostel admission?
No fees are charged for hostel admission. Girls’ accommodation, food and educational expenses are free. All the facilities of the hostel are provided free of charge.
Is the school facility within the hostel?
No, the institute does not have its own school but it shares with 2 municipal schools in the near of the hostel. One of Sant Dnyaneshwar School for 5th to 7th std. and 2nd is Doctor Nanasaheb Parulekar School for 8th to 10th std.. Both these schools are of top level.
